Premium access is mainly given to members that are helping out with donating to the sites server costs. In addition to that 25 members got temporary access to Premium as part of the Five Years celebration of Bowiestation. I also discovered a bug two days ago that members that had donated hadn't received their access. That was rectified for all those members, with extra time added to their Premium access. That makes it around 70 new users, and probably more stressful for the servers than I planned for with 25 new members.

The main reason for keeping this "Donators only" and not for all members is bandwidth.
If opened for all, we would need a lot more server capacity and bandwidth, and that cost money.

Everything that is available for streaming is also available to download from Bowiestation.

I'm unsure about how the servers will cope with the current Premium users, so if you have problems with streaming please reply in this thread. Video uses the most bandwidth, then Flac and less is MP3.

For those who received access, here is how it works if you haven't figured it out by yourselves:

Audio Torrent with both Flac and MP3 streaming as options:

Click on the link and those with premium access will see buttons for Flac/MP3 streams.
The Flac-stream is of course lossless, but due to player limitations there are small gaps between the tracks. The MP3 stream is the whole concert in one file, without gaps between tracks, but lossy. The MP3 stream requieres less bandwidth.

You will here see a videoplayer on top of the page. Most videos are transcoded, and are therefore with a little lower quality than the torrent.

Thank you JanErik.   I can see & use the streaming audio, but I don't see the player at the top of he page for streaming video.    I've tried it in both Chrome & Edge, so I can't say what the issue is.

Thanks for the feedback. It looks like the video feature is not working at all at the moment. Looking into it...

I have problem when i want to read FLAC....on premium access
nothing happened ?
