A very nice compilation in mostly excellent sound quality. The only tracks that are a bit less than excellent are the 1972 songs. The alternative take of OH! YOU PRETTY THINGS is not too good when it comes to the sound quality. The two first versions of QUEEN BITCH are aborted versions due to mistakes. The same goes for the first versions of ZIGGY STARDUST and ALL THE YOUNG DUDES from BBC 2000. THE JEAN GENIE from the same session is without Bowie, just the band fooling around with the song!

Good catch! Whilst it should be banned in its current format, should the uploader be asked to remove the officially released tracks and reload?

Was my error was mean't to be "Toying with the Bootlegs" which has aleast 1 of above tracks which without would make no difference as wasn't on Toy album anyway

have two versions one torrent called Toying (complete) other Toying with bootlegs which has tracks 2 & 6 removed that's the one was meant to be, some old compliations I have even though from MWP were first up back 8-10yrs ago some even first on savage jaw  alot's happened in that time so need checking individual tracks

So anyone else thinking of upping a compliation especially an older one that may of been ok a good starting point to check at is http://www.allmusic.com search song title look for artist select and check albums

Hi i'm new here, though i joined in August last year, I have searched for multi tracks as i have them for a couple of bowie tracks, i was going to have a go at uploading them on this site, after reading this thread i wondered if they are allowed? :?  :?  :?

IMHO multitracks should be allowed (with the exception of Space Oddity) as they weren't officially released in that format (they seem to have been largely extracted from Guitar Hero etc).  But that's only my opinion (and perhaps coloured by the fact I'd quite like to have more of them!).


Don't blame me, I didn't do it!
