Hi. Please can someone help a 50 yr old IT illiterate Bowie fan?? I've set up a new account as everytime i try to download a torrent is chucks me out of the site and the log in screen comes up! This is happening as well to my new account. What am i doing wrong? Cheers Rob  :(

Not sure if this was still a problem for you Rob as it may have been caused by your account not being enabled which it looks like it is now.

Is it still an issue? If so, what BitTorrent client are you using to download the torrent?

Do you use the Opera browser? Opera does not work well with Bowie Station, but the others work fine.

I know that Opera on Windows does not work with the Radio.
Yesterday a new user couldn't get through the confirmation page without being logged out using Opera/Windows. I think there might be others to that has been logged out with Opera.

Since Opera is only used by a small amount of users and it works with other browsers, and I have no clue where to start looking for this error, this will not have priority to be fixed.

So I should probably write in the FAQ that Opera is not supported and doesn't work well on the site.
With Linux, Opera works fine. Quite strange.

It is a shame though, since Opera is Norwegian...

Another cause of being logged out is using VPN/Proxy servers.

I still get bounced out occasionally too, especially when clicking on links in reseed requests. Happens in both Firefox and Chrome in UbuntuStudio 14.04.3.
