Serious Moonlight is the title of a David Bowie concert video; originally filmed on the singer's 1983 "Serious Moonlight Tour" in Vancouver (12 September night), it was released on video and laserdisc in 1984 and on DVD in 2006.

The concert includes most of the songs from the concert although "Star", "Stay", "The Jean Genie", "Red Sails" and "Modern Love" were left off the release due to time constraints; the songs were not reinstated for the 2006 DVD release.

Are we ever gonna see this missing songs released ?
Or does a complete video bootleg exist ?

Those tracks are missing on all 3 versions of the DVD release that I have.
However......
I do have a 3 disc set of either soundboards, FM or Pre-FM (not sure which - the notes say the set is made from 2 different broadcasts, but this might not be totally accurate)
These are all from the Montreal Forum, 13 July 1983. I have multiple copies of this one apart from that 3-disc set, including Pre-FM, soundboards & what is allegedly the canned album (a 2CD set).
I also have a set from the previous night - 12th July (unless this is another example of typical bootleg mislabelling of course)
Here are some of the info files:
1 - The Canned album "Totally Serious"

Montreal, Canada July 13, 1983

This is NOT the FM broadcast. It was taken from a "Reference Tape" of the complete performance. It was recorded to document the 1983 Serious Moonlight Tour.
A planned double album never saw the light of day. "Modern Love" from this set was
used on 1983 EMI single EA 158(UK)/8177(US).

The last 57 seconds of "China Girl" was lost during a sloppy transfer to cassette
in 1995. This has been repaired using a clip from the FM broadcast.
