I saw the MK 1983 gig and was very disappointed. Didn't like the set much (wasn't keen on Scary Monsters & Let's Dance anyway), hated the bowl anyway as it's open air and the acoustics were lousy. I then went and saw him at Wembley in 1987. As my favourite period was 72 to 79 horrified wasn't the word. Sell out, over the top, pathetic and awful crossed my mind at the time and it really put me off buying anything Bowie for about 20 years as I felt that he'd sold out. Once I got into downloading however, the later gigs, in the late 90's and 00's were actually really very good and I kicked myself for not going to them. I've now got all of his later CD's but still cannot bring myself to buy Tonight, NLMD and BT,WN. One day maybe, one day...! :D
