As part of the anniversary present we are happy to give something back to members that have contributed to the site with either donations or in other ways.

What is new:

- Lossless streaming of all audio torrents.
- MP3 streaming (192 kbps) of audio torrents.
- Video streaming of video torrents.

Right now all audio torrents are available for streaming in lossless format. During testing, we have found out that members with a slow internet connection might have big gaps (up to 10s) between the tracks when streaming. Therefore MP3 streaming is also offered. The MP3 streams are continues without gaps, and tracks can't be selected.

The MP3 streaming only includes about 10 torrents so far, but all audio torrents will eventually be available for streaming.

The video streaming only includes about 5 torrents so far, but all video torrents will eventually be available for streaming.

Access is given to the following users:

Staff - Lifetime access
Members that have donated at least $50 - Lifetime access
All members that have donated so far - 12 months access
Members of the Bowstat team - 6 months access

For new donations, access to streaming will be given for 10 days for each Dollar donated.
If you donate $10, you will get 100 days of access to the streaming services.
Accumulated donations of $50 will give lifetime access.

The streaming has been added in the torrent details pages.

I wish that the streaming services could be offered to all members, but the servers would not handle that kind of traffic. Therefore only contributing members are given access.

The audio player is not working on Internet Explorer 11 (and probably other versions).
I'm not sure if this can be fixed, so to use the audio player, you need to use another browser.

Current status:

- All audio torrents can be streamed losslessly with Flac (also non-Bowie)
- 102 audio torrents can be streamed as MP3
- 103 video torrents can be streamed including all HG releases and Watch That Man

Internet Explorer 11 will NOT be supported. The solution used needs the support for "Audio-API" and IE11 do not support that:

There has also been some other issues with Opera, so IE11 and Opera is not supported on Bowie Station.

All functions on the site should work on Chrome and Firefox.
