Bowie Station proudly presents:

BOWIE STATION RADIO

The "Radio" can be found at the top menu between "Home" and "Forums".
It will open in a popup window.

The radio has 16 channels. Mainly one channel for each tour and 4 Main channels which play all recordings on the tour specific channels.

The radio stream is in MP3 (VBR-V5), which gives acceptable sound for listening on PC-speakers.

All concerts are converted into one MP3 file for each concert.
This is done for various reasons:
- Flac would be better, but use 5-10 times the bandwidth.
- Single files eliminates the gaps between tracks with MP3 files.
- With single files the concerts can be shuffled without problems.
 With files for each track, static playlist would be needed.

There are currently about 50 concerts added to the radio.
We are open for suggestions for additions or replacements of concerts.

The Radio works best with Chrome or Firefox. It has been tested on Linux, Win7, Win10 and Android. Some browsers does not show the radio totally as intended, but they work. The only combination that is known to not work at all is Opera on Windows 7 and 10.

The work on the Radio started a week ago, and there are still some work to be done with adding more concerts (and maybe a couple more channels). The looks is as good as I manage, but probably there will be updates to the looks soon.

Finally got it too work ...had to use Opera browser,both Chrome and MS Edge didnt work.Also I had to switch off my VPN..Loving it now that it works for me.

It wont work with chrome browzer and a couple of others. It works for me on MS edge.

It maybe worth trying a few browsers.
